We had a baby photo session with Kelly in January 2026, and she was amazing. She took lots of beautiful family photos and made the whole session fun and relaxed. I’m beyond thrilled to share some exciting news—last weekend, I received my first Photographer Bar with the Guild of Photographers! 🎉

This prestigious recognition is awarded to photographers who have consistently demonstrated an exceptional level of professional skill over the course of a year, with images assessed and scored by the Guild.

Achieving this milestone means so much to me. Entering competitions and receiving feedback allows me to continually learn and produce the highest standard of work for my wonderful clients.

So I entered my first ever photography print competition with The Society of Photographers this week with 2 prints!! I’m so proud to say I was awarded an 86 (excellent standard) with Baby Matilda in Green and a 78 with Baby Lily in Pink. So so happy 🤩

This was totally out of my comfort zone, having my work judged by a panel of judges felt very nerve-wracking, but I'm thrilled that I took the leap! Hopefully, this marks the beginning of many more!!

Last week I attended The Societies 2022 Trade show and awards evening in London and what a great few days it was! It was amazing to be there to cheer on Kelly Brown Photographer who won Best Professional Training 2022 and 1st place in the Newborn portrait competition and also a new friend Eleanor who won 1st place in the Children’s portrait competition too. But best of all I got to meet these amazing talented ladies, the KBO family!! Can’t wait to do it all again next year. xx

Virtual Newborn Sessions

This weeks Virtual session went really well, Mummy and Daddy captured the most gorgeous pictures of baby Lorie

I guided Mummy on where the best place to take the picture was, what she would need and how to put Lorie into the best safe positions. Once we got the best pictures, she then sent them over to me and I worked my magic.She did so well getting Lorie into these great poses.

If you have recently had a baby in lockdown or are due in the next month and would like help with taking your Newborn pictures then please get in touch, I would love to help.

The session is £50, this includes a guide which shows you how to create 3 different poses and then 5 of your images will be professionally edited and returned to you.

My first Virtual Newborn Photoshoot

This picture was taken by Baby Indy's Mummy who really didn't want to miss out on him having his newborn pictures.

I guided Mummy on where the best place to take the picture was, what she would need and how to put Indy into the best safe poses. She didn't have a camera so we used her iPhone. Once we got the best picture Mummy sent it over to me and I worked my magic. I think Mummy did really well

Doorstep Portraits

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has had a Doorstep Portrait taken by myself. Over the last 4 weeks I have taken over 30 portraits and have raised over £150 for the NHS 👏🌈

This year my Summer season was fully booked with over 28 nurseries and schools booked in for photographs, but all this had to be put on hold or cancelled. It wasn't looking good! 😞 I was desperate to get back behind the camera, then I was asked to do a Doorstep Portrait and with restrictions lifting a little I thought I would give it a try. It was brilliant and so lovely to get out there and meet people (Social distancing). I have now taken over 30 portraits for families in and around Congleton and had such a brilliant response from them all. Thank you so much for keeping me busy and helping me earn a little too. 😁
